Club Double 6 is a youth club operating from an established building on Scarsdale Road in the Woodseats area of Sheffield. The building is owned by the National Association of Clubs for Young People and entrusted to elected trustees to manage and operate.

The Club was established in 1966 (hence the name) and was originally formed as a Boys’ club. Over the years, the club has developed into a general youth club, open to all young people aged 10 upwards. The youth club currently opens on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings, 6.45-9.15pm. Young people pay £1 subs to access the club.

The club is run by a part time youth worker (Richard), with support from volunteers from the local community. Attendance at the youth club has increased in number over the last twelve months, and currently works with around 40 young people per night that the club opens. In addition to the centre based youth club provision a number of external outings have taken place including residentials.

The club is supported by the South Area Community Assembly (Dir. Martin Hughes) and Activ8 Magazine, and is affiliated to CYP (Clubs for Young People).
